I think Honda uses it for PR and research… I’m not sure how praticale the shifting would be on a normal up and downhill mtb. If you do some searchs on the Honda RN01 CVT you can get some clues here and there on the various boards.
If there are any ME types out there feel free to explain to the rest of us what a CVT is :). Maybe then I can explain what a DRAM is for you someday.
